A Toronto-based gold mining company in Nevada has stop their operation and announce that one of their company is bankrupt. They eliminate most of the miners. Happy thanksgiving is not that happy for the 182 Nevada miners employee of Waterton Global Mining as they know on Monday that they were being laid off according to the article of Dorothy Kosich

Waterton acquired the mine and the Esmeralda Mill site near Hawthorne in May from Great Basin Gold during bankruptcy auction. About 25 mill workers will be let go at the mill once ore stockpiles will be processed. The company said that they focus will be on drilling and exploration to extend the life of the mine.

The company officials says worker will receive 60-days salary and benefits according to Ktvn.com
